Hi! I'm Andrea (28 years old) and since three years ago I moved to the Appennin hills to run my own organic farm. Today I mainly produce honey and bluberries. I live in a renovated farmhouse surrounded by the nature between the regions of Emilia-Romagna, Ligura and Tuscany.
Help around the house
I will be more than happy to teach travellers everything I know about beekeeping and honey production. Travellers may also benefit from practicing Italian language and visiting the central/north Italy.
I have a basic level of english so I would like to host people with I can practice my english.
In general I'm looking for positive, curious and friendly people, who are interested in beekeeping. It's not necessary any previous experience.
Travellers can help with beekeeping activities, bluberries cultivation and others general farm tasks.
During the summer, travellers may be involved in the actual production of the honey and bluberries picking,
Private bedroom and private bathroom in the farmhouse where I live.
I will take care of food expense and we will eat togheter.
The house is located close to Borgo Val di Taro on a strategic position between Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Liguria. This means that different popular tourist destinations are a short train journey away. The nearest railway station is 6km from the farm. The valley is very beatifull and it's perfect for hiking and swimming in the river.
