    We are family of farmers (3members) trying to convert a paddy field into a regenerative food forest. We have spend 20+ years converting the land and so far have managed to convert 30% into a food forest using regenerative and indigenous natural farming methods.

    Travellers will get to experience local farming techniques, native plants, harvesting & preservation techniques, eat local home grown and cooked food (70% is home grown) and explore places with different microclimates around like beaches, hills, creeks, rivers, wetlands and mumbai city too.

    We need volunteers who can help us with building chicken coops, raised vegetable beds, fruit tree plantation, compost toilets, natural buildings and more. We open to regenerative solutions and suggestions.

    Home stay, there's a seperate room which can accommodate 2 adults and enough space to pitch 2 tents (individual) in the farm. We have one common washroom and kitchen. The room requires one to climb using a ladder, tent however can he pitched anywhere on the ground and can be wheel chai accessible as well.

    Can explore the diverse spots around like beaches, hill tops, wetlands, creeks and can also head towards Mumbai City which is like 3hrs away from the property. Transport options like local autorikshwa, rented non geared vehicles/ cabs. One can roam around using a bicycle as well. Nearest airport is mumbai airport and one can reach farm by taking a ferry from Mumbai to alibag followed by a local shared auto.
