Description
Hi, I am Geert. A few years ago, after a lot of personal and spiritual growth, I changed my life completely. I sold everything in Belgium, to create a better world in the south of France. I became vegan, healthy, i use no chemical products on me or in the house/garden and try to find the natural remedy for every problem. I found this amazing place in the middle of nature with stunning views on a south orientated hill-side. Together with my girlfriend we want to inspire people to aim for more quality in their life.
We want to be self-sufficient in food and energy as much as possible. Therefore, we are creating a permaculture garden, recycle things to build energy-generators.
As a guesthouse we rent out our rooms in summer, which we renovate off-season, we have a big terrain to maintain, fruits and vegetables to harvest, wood to cut, we are converting our pool into a natural one, we are building an atelier, constructing an outdoor bar... just to give you an idea. As you can see, we have a lot of projects and even many more ideas! The work that is needed to be done is a bit depending on the season and the weather. But most of the time we work outside and luckily, we are in the south of France 😊
We want to live as free as possible of the demanding and money driven society we are living in, although some rules are necessary to make living together possible. No smoking, respect for other creators, people, things and yourself and willing to open yourself up for the main course are the most important ones. People who are resonating on these words, want to help out, like real nature, are non-smokers and respect the rules are welcome to give form to this dream.

This is one of the most beautiful regions of France, not to far from the sea and the higher Alpes. If you like beautiful views, hikes, romantic small French villages, hills, birds, bores, and all kind of wild animals, you are in a treat here. You can learn about vegan cuisine, permaculture gardening, personal growth, universal insights, natural remedies, awareness, pottery, painting, sculpture , building, eating healthy, living healthy ...
Help
We can use help with gardening, converting our swimming pool to an ecological one (building), renovations, making delicious vegan dinners, be open minded and eager to learn and share.

Accommodation
We have room for 2 people. The accommodation in one of the most beautiful places in France is free in return for 5 hours of help per day (5 days/week). The kitchen is 100% vegan. Cooking is not seen as a daily job, it is relaxing for us and hopefully you like to join that vibe. Basic meals are provided but if you want other things , feel free to buy it if we go to the shop.
What else ...
They are plenty of nice things to visit in the region. The small villages organize festivities almost every week : festivals, markets, flee markets.... Abriecosy is located 3 km from the village Bargemon, 30 min from Ggorges du Verdon or Fréjus. A day in Nice, Marseille, St-Tropez, Saint Raphael, is all in the possibilities. Public transportation is not the easiest in Bargemon, you have to make a reservation for a bus. The easiest way here is to have your own transportation, but don't worry if you don't, because we ourselfs like to hike, visit things, go to culture festivals, the organic shop etc...too. So, there will be plenty opportunities for you to get out.
