Description
We run an organic vineyard located in the outskirts of Bordeaux. A pretty special place as only there are 6% in the region. The family owned property was founded in the 1820's. We produce red, white and rosé wines under Bordeaux and Bordeaux Superior appellations. We also, welcome tourists in our Bed & Breakfast units on-site and do behind the scene tours to get people familiarized with wine making.
It is a large property 30 hectares overall, of which half are planted vines. We have been progressively restoring the buildings and will need help with general maintenance and handy jobs indoors and outdoors (ex -sanding, painting, gardening, pool care, etc) to get the place ready for the summer season. We also require help with cleaning the living spaces - general house keeping and we would of course enjoy tasting food from your country!
We are a family of 5 who love to discover different cultures. We have 1 dog and 2 cats. We are very dedicated to what we do, so we are looking for people who are curious, hard working (like us), but with a joy of living and sharing. We hope to provide a unique experience and help you discover the French culture in the country side.Types of help and learning opportunities

What else ...
We are a team of 2 working on the vineyard. We have numerous tasks to perform throughout the day and try to make the most of our workdays. However, we like to be in harmony with nature and with others. We are conscious of the environment and try to pitch in our contribution to the planet by recycling our used water, recycling our trash, choosing suppliers which are closed by, and anything we can to pollute less.
You will literally be at the core of French wine country. On your time off you can go explore the wine and historic Châteaux which are very close by. You can also take a train to Bordeaux and discover one of the most beautiful cities in France. Bus stop is less than 1 min walk from the house.
Family, respect, honesty and integrity are very important and at the heart of our values.A little more information
