Description
Would you like to do something for the planet?
we are looking for easygoing, non-smokers and love nature volunteers from around the world
( please kindly read until the end before apply )
welcome you all to help build and develop our eco-project
I have lived in the UK for nearly 6 years, and have moved back to Kalasin Thailand.
since December 2016
we tried so hard to raise the money to build this international Eco-village
started build this place since January 2017 by volunteers from local and around the world
(but some serious structure we paid professionals )
we hope to do something for nature as well as encourage people and the younger generation to aware more about the environment
So we need a lot of help and support with preparing our organic farm, making mud bricks, painting, looking after the trees and vegetables and cook together as well as make the village looks nice such as using recycled materials decorate the surrounding area and sometimes help less fortunate people in the community. While doing those eco activities local students and others local people will be able to practice their English naturally while working with you.
We get up early with a bit of exercise the middle of the rice field
a bit mindfulness meditation and basic yoga every morning
then cleaning, watering the plants
and after that we do not have any exact routine
( if you prefer clear plans or routine this place may not suite you.
because We prerfer easygoing or flexible people who can adapt themself with different things )
we will be doing serval different things to look after and develop our place together such as painting, building, fixing things, gardening depends on which seasons you get here
so far we only have students join us most weekend not all the time
when we have students we run like a fun eco English camp with lot of games, cooking walking in the ricefield learn how to live with nature
we have found that it can be pointless when people learn the language but have no chance to practise in daily life
most of them end up forgeting what they've learned
We simply want to help local students who can not afford to practise English in an expensive international school or abroad to have an opportunity to practise English with international people
and we also hope them to engage themselves more with nature rather than spend too much time on technology
we are not making this project for profit we wish to pay respect to the environment and support people who wish to improve their English
we do not want you to feel like you come here to work for us
please come here because you want to do something for nature and the younger generation
accommodations provided (the private huts along the pond )
we are now registered not for profit organization Registered Foundation number 5/2561 Kalasin Thailand
for the food, we cook together most of the time and eat out sometimes ( visiting local community )
If you believe this idea great and meaningful and wish to be part of our village
please come and develop the eco-village together
Smoking and drinking alcohol are strictly prohibited
if you are non-smokers and non-alcoholism.
not afraid of getting dirty and love what has been said above
Hope to see you soon :)
Ps. after we agree
Please prepare a personal water bottle, fit flops or sandals and spray or cream to prevent mosquito
Would be great !!!
All the best
