  • Description

My name is Shedrach. In 1998 my mother started a small creche right in her sitting room. Because of her obvious love, passion and experience in her job, the creche became popular around the community. In 2014 my wife and I decided to resign our jobs to establish and upgrade the creche into a Kindergarten. The Kindergarten school is a family project dedicated to building morally sound global citizens delivering world class early years education in Nigeria with a unique curriculum that combines Montessori method, with Early years education system. We also use practical approach . The Kindergarten school was built and designed with adequate facilities for 100 pupils only from ages 1.6 to 10 years old with a maximum of 15 pupils per class and a current number of 35 staff. Our facilities include very clean and serene learning environment, a mini zoo, vegetable garden, amble play ground, Sleeping rooms, school hall, activity room, theme center, science, music, art and game corners among other things. The school is been managed by my Wife, my Mother a and myself. The rest of my family members mange a multimedia company and have been very supportive. Interestingly, the school is situated in Lagos, Nigeria the very heart of Africa in a very peaceful environment on the Mainland about 20 minute from the Lagos international airport.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Firstly, Lagos state is called the center of excellence and part of our curriculum involve 'exploring Lagos'. In collaboration with the state government, the school engage in series of activities around the state in safety and comfort. Unlike other places, Lagos is not a place for a particular tribe or culture. It is often called the city that does not sleep. With the Atlantic ocean and international airport, aquatic splendor and lots of private beaches, nightlife, historic and international tourist destinations like the Point of no return, national museum, our volunteers would not only learn from the combination of diverse Nigerian experience, they would always want to come back again.

  • Help

As a world class school, we teach and expose our kids to cultural exchange programs, languages and general knowledge from around the world to build their self confidence and prepare them to be able to fit into any society around the world. We would like to get volunteers from anywhere in the world that would love to come teach language, and share their cultural experience with our kids. The volunteer should also be ready to engage in practical life classes, circle time (story time), outdoor games and administrative functions.
