Looking for people to Help us!!

Volunteer in Paradise: If you're the kind of person who enjoys tranquility and sharing a communal work and living space, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Experience life by the beach, with stunning sunrises, sunsets, and a deeper connection to nature.

    About Us:
We're two brothers from Argentina who inherited an old property, which we've renovated with the help of volunteers. Now, we're transitioning to hosting guests and offering some food, aiming to operate as a sort of hostel.
It's been a two-year journey that wouldn't have been possible without the support of our volunteers from all over the world.

    Tasks and Responsibilities:
We're just starting out and learning the ropes as we go along. The tasks can vary depending on the time of year you visit. Generally, they involve maintaining the property (cleaning, gardening, cooking, etc.), as well as other jobs like painting, crafting furniture, carpentry, or fixing things that tend to break due to our beachfront location.

    Enjoying
On our free time we go swimming or snorkeling (you can see the coral reef through the window!).
We have a nice vibe here, so we share all our meals, we hang at night playing guitar and cards, doing bonfires, etc.
    (It’s a pretty chill community).

    The location:
Our property isn't located directly in Mahahual; it's about a 30-minute ride away (we typically go into town twice a week for groceries and some weekend nights!).
We have all the amenities you'd find in a regular house, including electricity, running water, gas, unlimited Wi-Fi, and a kitchen.

Depending on the time of year, we may provide free food for volunteers or not.
The high season runs from November to April, coinciding with the most beautiful beach conditions (without seaweed).

Because our place is so remote, we try to ask to people to come more than just 2 weeks. So we can have time to learn a little more from the other and have a nice exchange.

    Thanks
    Marco and Alejandro

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

As a cultural exchange in Mexico (and also living with Argentinians!) you would be learning spanish and about the Mexican culture in general.
But the biggest exchange is the possibility of living for a while in a place that is really special. It's not for everyone.
But being in a remote place, we have the possibility of being very close to nature.
In front of the Caribbean Sea, with many sunrises, sunsets and nights of many stars.
