  Description

  I live part time in Costa Rica and part time in N. California/Michigan/Austin.
  My adventure company specializes in waterfall rappelling and tree climbing. We live on the beach among incredible wildlife. I would like someone to assist managing landscaping.
  We are off the grid and live simply but by no means, too rustic. There is wifi, hot water, fans, fridge and lights.

  More than one world traveler has stated the Osa is in the top 5 of undisturbed, natural beauty. My background in biology will unlock amazing revelations of tropical ecology. That and our intimate, if, unconventional community will make a lasting impression.

  If/when tourism drops, there is opportunity to cultivate our salad garden for organic meals as well as yard maintenance.
  
  Ideally i am looking for people strong in tropical biology. I can teach the basics of rope safety but engaging my clients on the hike into the forest is important.

  Accommodation

  There is a one room cottage with all the amenities listed above. There is a long term renter in there now, so volunteers have been sharing my house staying in the guest room with private bath and shower.

  What else ...

  Transportation is usually done by hitching rides or using taxis. We are in remote rainforest so nightlife is sparse though it exists. Some lodges party into the night and there is a great gathering place on Friday night. All the local artisans and culinary savants gather there. Our property is a gathering place for most of the neighbors because of the location in front of good surfing.
