  Description

  We are a Franco-Brazilian family (couple and two children aged 7 and 2 years) installed since 2018 in family farming.
  The property is located in Serra da Mantiqueira between the city of Conceição do Rio Verde and the tourist city of São Tomé das Letras in the state of Minas Gerais.
  Our goal is to be able to welcome, transmit and share our knowledge, experiences to those we meet. Our main economic activity is both subsistence and commercial agriculture in various areas and cultures, such as: various fruit trees, coffee, perennial crops (cassava, potato, etc...), annuals (corn, beans, vegetables) and agriculture and livestock in general (free range chickens, pigs and cattle).
  Our area being reduced, we use various agricultural techniques to enhance production in a manner consistent with both the environment and human beings.
  We need help both in our daily work and in new projects, such as: organic gardening, agroforestry management, care and treatment of animals, plantations, harvesting, orchard and coffee plantation formation, among others.
  In addition to providing a rural learning experience, our region has countless tourist, cultural and natural attractions waiting for you to discover them!

  Somos uma família franco-brasileira (casal e dois filhos de 7 e 2 anos) instalados desde de 2018 em agricultura familiar.
  A propriedade está situada na Serra da Mantiqueira entre a cidade de Conceição do Rio Verde e a cidade turística de São Tomé das Letras no estado de Minas Gerais.
  Nosso objetivo é poder acolher, transmitir e compartilhar nossos saberes, experiências àqueles com quem nos encontramos. Temos por atividade econômica principal a agricultura tanto de subsistência como comercial em diversas áreas e culturas, tais como: frutíferas diversas, café, culturas perenes (mandioca, batata-doca, etc...), anuais (milho, feijão, hortaliças) e agropecuária em geral (frangos caipiras, porco e gado).
  Nossa área sendo reduzida, usamos diversas técnicas agrícolas para potencializar as produções de forma coerente tanto com o meio ambiente quanto com o ser humano.
  Precisamos de ajuda tanto em nossos trabalhos cotidianos quanto em novos projetos, tais como: horta orgânica, manejo de agrofloresta, cuidados e tratos com os animais, plantações, colheitas, formação de pomar e cafezal, entre outros.
  Além de proporcionar uma experiência rural de aprendizagem, nossa região possui inúmeros atrativos turísticos, culturais e naturais que esperam você para descobri-los! Até breve, Pedro, Louise, Jasmine e Samuel!

  We all have 2 children and people who are coming would be welcome to help with taking care of them and doing activities.

  Precisamos de ajuda tanto em nossos trabalhos cotidianos quanto em novos projetos, tais como: horta orgânica, manejo de agrofloresta, cuidados e tratos com os animais, plantações, colheitas, formação de pomar e cafezal, entre outros.
  Também temos 2 crianças e pessoas que vierem serão bem vindas em nos ajudar com eles, com recreação, atividades etc...

  Accommodation

  We have an independent cottage with a double bed and a kitchen with a wood stove where we prepare communal meals. Bathroom in the main house at 15 meters from the chalet.

  Possuímos um chalé independente com cama de casal e cozinha com fogão à lenha onde preparamos as refeições comunitárias. Banheiro na casa principal à 15 metros do chalé.

  What else ...

  The property is situated in the countryside at 12KM from Conceição do Rio Verde and 18KM from São Tomé das Letras. There are several places to visit within walking distances of the property, such as waterfalls, streams, mountains and hiking. There is no public transport to the countryside but we pick up our guests from the nearest surroundings. We usually go once or twice a week to the nearest city (Conceição do Rio Verde).

  A propriedade está situada na zona rural à 12KM de Conceição do Rio Verde e 18KM de São Tomé das Letras. Há diversos pontos de visita à curtas distâncias à pé da propriedade como cachoeiras, ribeirões, montanhas e caminhadas. Não há transporte público até a zona rural mas nós buscamos nossos convidados nas circunvizinhanças mais próximas. Normalmente vamos de uma a duas vezes por semana para a cidade mais próxima (Conceição do Rio Verde).
