Description
We are a local community who are doing english learning program for local students and some institutions. We have run this programme since 5 years ago and it has been running well so far, many of us now are getting more interested and excited to learn and pricticing more.
We are planning to devepelop the ability to speak english of our team and other locals who want to participate in our programme,by inviting foreigners to come to interract and seeing how benefit is our programme for the society.
Moreover, if you feel like expressing the artitst in yourself, we also have the project to paint a wall at the class. Any idea and artistic skills would be gladly welcomed. But no worries, there is no pressure if you prefer to stick with helping with the classes :)
We would like to invite you to come and do some our programes(teaching english,socializing with locals and localizing your travel) as one of our ways to exchange . We provide accomodation and you guys are always welcome to join us to cook in our kitchen. Sometimes we cook local dish for us.
We would like to share all the interests and showing you around the area , we are also flexible as long as you enjoy to stay with us we are always glad to have you. Eventhough its only for a couple of days.
If you are arround this area ( Sukabumi, Bandung, Bogor, Or Even Jakarta ) and dont have long time to stay, we are also willing to have you for a short visit to chill or drinking with our local community. Because Cianjur is located among those cities.
For further informations and if you guys are interested to come, you can always contact us and we would like to help you to answer the questions about our programme and help you how to get around by giving you the directions.

Beside visiting touristy areas, they get different impressions and memories, by localizing their travel ( Sosializing, interacting, and helping people in non touristy area).
Seeing real life of local indonesian is a good way to complete their travel because sometimes traveling is not always about visiting a touristy area but also meeting local people should be part of it.
They could learn about things that they havent ever expected before, such as seeing a geniune culture and a different world.
- Willing to show Cianjur areas to volunteers, such as a historic sites, hang out place, touristic places, with our local comunity.

- TEACHING ENGLISH LONG STAY (working as a teacher here)
We are looking for someone who want to be an english teacher in indonesia with us for a long period of stay. we can talk more about how much we should pay you and how does it work. we are looking for 6 months - a year staying and prefer someone who is able to talk indonesian, even its not much. but we prefer that one. message us for more information of this.
- English Conversation
We hope to find the volunteer who is able to help with the english conversation. because we have an english school in cianjur which helps locals to learn english.
we find out, that learning english by dealing with the foreigner is the best way to start, and we can get rid of the shyness.
4 years ago before i start this programme, i couldnt speak english. then I braced myself to start inviting the volunteer without having any ability of english. My first volunteer was dutch girl. and i used "google translate' that time.
now, I can speak english better ( without google translate :D ) because of this wonderful programme of workaway!!
2 years ago I started to open the english course until now, because I wanna share to them that english is kinda easy to learn. with 5 of our local teachers we help them to speak.
We hope you to help us make a conversation with the locals to improve their english!

the tea plantation and ricemill is always a good place to see and visit.

Cianjur is a lovely little town. has a lot of beauty, such as "gunung padang", Cibodas Botanical Garden, flower garden archipelago, Mount Gede Pangrango,more tea gardens, and much more. I guarantee you will not regret to come to Cianjur, - West Java, Indonesia.
