    Description

    We are Malay family living in Kampung Pulau Pisang , a small village surrounded by paddy fields. We are one of the host of homestay programme which needed to improve and expand. After a long period closure during pandemic, there's a lot of thing to refurbish and do some maintenance here in our place.

    As we look to spread our wing further, we are now organizing another new product/concept which are dedicated to backpacker from all over the world.

    We have a lot of fruit plants (mangosteen, banana, coconut, rambutan, guava etc.) which visitors can self pick/pluck and eat as much as they want ( but not to bring out of our places ) during fruit season. Nevertheless, our place are surrounded by a large paddy field.

    We also have 2 large artificial fresh water lakes, one for water activities such as swimming , ride a paddle boats and play a remote control boat while the other lakes is for fishing activities.
    We also have mini zoo with variety of turtles, 6 Legged Tortoise and nevertheless a 5 metres++ length Malaysian Phyton aged 20 years old.

    Every travellers will learn and experience Malaysian living culture such as Malay clothes, food, activities and celebrations and what are Malaysian village people do for living. We also provide them a Kain Sarung, Kain Batik and Baju Kurung Kedah for our travellers so they can practice and experience how we as a Malay villagers wear daily. Our travellers will also can learn on 'hands on' cooking practice of Malay traditional food and dishes such as 'Pek-Nga' ( Malay pancake ), Nasi Lemak, Traditional cake and cookies and many more dishes.

    We are looking for some help around the house and mostly in maintenance of the house/place, cleaning the garden, feeding the animals and developing our place on the internet.
    We are happy to welcome those creative people who can bring some ideas to our place.
    We're also looking for someone who had knowledge in building a house by using a bamboo.

    We have 2 units chalet, 1 unit small house and 1 unit long house which we make it as a dormitory. As our concept is wooden Malay traditional concept house, we are welcome to anybody who like to live in simple and humble.

    We provide Malaysian Halal food  But we are not able to provide special food (vegetarien, vegan or other special diets). But you are always welcome to use the kitchen and the market with fresh ingredients is not far.

    First of all you can enjoy a typical malay village with sceneric and beatiful nature. You can be a part of the village life and learn traditional fishing or helping on the paddy fields.

    If you need to find anything we have a small village grocery. There were also convenient shop called 7eleven that operated 24hours just 2km from our place. Don't worry about transport to go as we will bring you at no cost involve, all you have to do is just ask us at anytime.
