If you have been traveling for a while and wish to sink your teeth into a project or you are just looking to get off the beaten trail, then this is the place for you.
Depending on the season, life/work on the mountain can get pretty tough. The accommodation is away from town, it gets pretty chilly at night and it's not unusual to find bugs and other wildlife around the house.

Not only will you be able to interact with the locals, practice Japanese, and eat some of the best food in Japan, but guests contribute to the development of a new destination. Our company is a very active member of the community, so guests are often invited to participate in local festivals, BBQs, and other events. The locals here are excited to have you around, so don't be surprised if they buy you a drink and invite you into their homes.

This spring/summer we will need your help clearing out a recently purchased facility and with painting. We always need a hand with basic building maintenance and odd jobs at our various properties. No special skills are required, but guests with plumbing, electrical, carpentry and cooking skills are preferred. We appreciate those who put in the time to do a good job and your effort, or lack thereof will not go unnoticed.
If possible, please pick up an international driver's license before your visit. This will come in handy on weekends when you'd like to go shopping or explore the area. We offer work with minimum Hokkaido labor law wage or more, for all hours worked in all months of the year, with no deductions for accommodation. food or transportation. A bus departs from Sapporo or Otaru station nearly every hour directly to iwanai. We can pick you up from the Iwanai bus terminal if you provide an accurate arrival time.
