Conscious Farm in the Talamanca mountains in the caribbean of Costa Rica

Hello I am Kory, I operate a farm in the Talamanca mountains. WE are not on the Pacific side as the map shows. We are at the top of a mountain in Valle La Estrella .

We Are a family of 3 who enjoy welcoming guests from all over the world to learn about the many medicinal herbs we have on our land. We are a sea moss, cacao & medicinal herb/tea business sourced here from the Caribbean. We dry the herbs for tea.

We are looking for volunteers who enjoy participating in the kitchen with cooking high frequency vegan food and cleaning, helping with maintaining a clean and peaceful environment. Foraging the jungle in search of medicinal herbs to be dried & packaged. You’ll learn the properties of said plants & how to better yours & your loved ones health with nature. We have 100 cacao trees for you to learn the practice of making cacao.

During your stay we may request of you to help with handy work around the farm, caring for our rescue horses and working with the chickens. These are just some areas that we would love to share in and learn together in our community to help others expand their cultural knowledge and us as well. We are new to this sustainable, organic farm life so any information from you is very welcomed & graciously received.

We relocated to this land June 1st 2022. The land was neglected for 4 years and has required much love and attention. The breathtaking views of the 57 acres have multiple pastures, fresh water system stemming from creeks upon the mountain top , and immense potential to fully activate our self-sustainable living. . My ideal volunteer for physical labor would be knowledgeable with growing food and managing gardens and/or skilled in handywork. You would be social and accepting of shared spaces with conscious souls who are here sharing in this experience with you. There's no consuming of alcohol. We are also looking for guidance and support in building a natural pool. We have the hole we just need the skills.

We are often many people here as we receive family and friends who are wanting to relax and also choose healing during their stay. We love to sit in ceremony together around the sacred fire and share our lives together at our grand dining table. We are getting back to our roots, here to recover the land, learn from the local indigenous and our goal is to learn to grow an abundance of food to be completely self sustainable.
Please have grace for my response to your messages. I receive more daily than I can keep up with while managing the property.
Please feel free to send multiple messages if you are very interested and we have not responded.

We operate in a high frequency here and are often sharing in conscious conversations. It is a beautiful space full of love, animals and happy souls expanding their awareness. We come from all areas of the world and love sharing and growing our knowledge with each other.

    Help

we have a community kitchen where all animal free meals are prepared, commonly we can have oursleves and volunteers here. Any support in the kitchen will be cooking for our friends and family who come to the farm. We have fresh fruit for rising and typically eat a good size meal between 1 and 2. We are very mindful of our supplies since we have to travel to retrieve them. Kitchen help would be staying in the house with the kitchen where there is a bathroom and bedroom that sleeps 2 in the same or separate beds. 1 full bed and 1 twin bed

For volunteers helping with the land we have a house for you also. there are 5 houses total on the farm. All with bathroom and kitchen.

    Accommodation

Shared housing in one of our 5 houses. As i said above there is 1 big meal a day with fresh fruit available for rising and often snacks to enjoy or smoothies to create. We eat to live not live to eat but when we do it is very delicious. Typically we make a large amount so there is plenty to eat if you need to. I share this to help you understand the responsibilities of being in the kitchen not to limit you in anyway. My partner is a cook and creating a animal free cookbook so this is a passion of hers and all who care to share in the food creation.
