Our Farm is a small and happy scale regenerative farming at 2 acres in kampung(village) setting of Sg Petani. The work was started by 2 travelers, Xin Tong and Fred in 2015, with only Xin Tong full time on site at the moment. Our regenerative methods including traditional farming, Permaculture and Biodynamics. You will also meet the original family, which is Xin's grand uncle and grand aunty who have been living here since 1969. The Uncle with his infini"tea" and the Aunty with her excellent cuisines. Xin's passion is medicinal herbs. She also does massage treatments for a living. We harvest and make our own products by hands. We join organic market and runs educational workshops such as Virgin Coconut Oil Workshop in Penang monthly. We do what is fun! After few years of work, we are blessed with healthy environment and good souls.
We will ask for volunteers to contribute RM15/night. That would be for all the transporting, room and board (3 sumptuous meals), logistics costs such as working tools and gloves for example. If that's too much for you, we would love to ask you to give by donation as you could. You could pay at the end of your stay. So if it's not a pleasant experience for you, you could choose not to contribute, that's the guarantee from us :)
All in all, we are happy to show you our community life with warmest hospitality.

Our home has many characters- farmers, travelers, masseuse, cook, merchants, artists... We all love learning by doing, or storytelling... We practice mindfulness living in the farm. It will be an experience, so let us all make the most out of it.

Spare room in our wooden kampung house or we have a make shift garage room
We could be reached by bus or train. You need to get to Sungai Petani. We could pick you up at the station. Just call us when you are there.
If you come by bus, we have 2 bus stations, old and new. The old one is in the town center, the new one is opposite train station. So ask the bus driver which one they will stop you at because it can be confusing. It depends on the bus driver which one they will stop at. I can pickup from both but you need to let me know which station it is when you arrive.
Please let us know if you have special diet so we can arrange accordingly. We are not vegetarians but we welcome everyone.
We were volunteers before so we hope to provide the best experience for the world that is coming to us :)
What else? We are also a non for profit association :)
