  We are looking for somebody who would like the opportunity to learn real horsemanship and training horses and all situations.
  Searching confident rider that is passionat about learning to be great with horses.
  Horsemanship offered by an american horseman with 25 years experiance.
  We are training mostly gaited horses, Icelandic horses and paso finos.
  
  
  In your leisure time you can visit friends, go for a hike or swim in the lake ‘’Chiemsee’’ which is close by. We would also be happy to show you the surrounding and visit with you well-known cities like Salzburg (Austria) or Munich (Germany).
  
  As we are an American- German couple, you get the opportunity to speak in German or English when you stay with us.
  
  Interested? If you are at least 18 years old, we (Cary, Nina, our little son, and our 2 dogs Bryan and Soy) would be very excited to get to know you. A period as of 2 months is required and can be extended up to 1 year.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  We live in South Germany about half an hour by car from the Austrian border. The surrounding offers many opportunities for nature lovers such as hiking, sailing, swimming or going skiing during winter time. The area around the farm is spacious and offers ideal conditions to go for a horse ride.
  
  Closeby you can find the the largest lake in Bavaria. The Chiemsee also known as ‘’ Bavarian sea’’ has three islands which all benefit from frequent ferry connections to the mainland. On Herreninsel King Ludwig built Schloss Herrenchiemsee, while Fraueninsel has an 8th century Benedictine convent.
  Well known cities such as Munich (popular for the yearly Oktoberfest) or the Austrian city Salzburg (known for Mozart and Sound of Music) are easily accessible by car or train.
  
  In the surrounding you can find some very good Bavarian restaurants where we will be more than happy to take you.

  Wir leben in Süddeutschland, ungefähr eine halbe Stunde mit dem Auto entfernt von der Österreichischen Grenze. Die Gegend ist sehr ländlich und bietet zahlreiche Möglichkeiten für wandern, segeln, schwimmen aber auch Skifahren im Winter. Das Gelände ist weitläufig und ideal für einen langen Ausritt.
  
  Der Chiemsee, welcher in unmittelbarer Nähe ist, hat Fährenanschlüsse mit denen man die Inseln im See erreichen kann. Die Herreninsel, die Größte der im See gelegenen Inseln, ist von Wanderwegen durchzogen. Auf der Insel steht das unvollendete ,,Neue Schloss Herrenchiemsee'', das von König Ludwig II. errichtet wurde und heute das König-Ludwig-II.-Museum beherbergt. Auf der kleineren Fraueninsel liegt die im 8. Jahrhundert gegründete Benediktinerinnen-Abtei Frauenwörth mit ihrem gotischen Glockenturm.
  
  Bekannte Städte wie München (vor allem beliebt für das alljährige Oktoberfest) oder die Österreichische Stadt Salzburg (bekannt als Mozart Stadt oder Drehort für Sound of Music) haben eine gute Auto-und Zuganbindung.
  
  In der Gegend gibt es zahlreiche gute, bayerische Restaurants und wir würden uns sehr freuen dir die Bayerische Küche näher zu bringen.

  At our farm you will have the possibility to get to know the American horsetrainer Cary Hardiman and experience his work. He is one of the best horse trainers in the USA and moved recently to Germany. After 25 years of Show Business and several awards of ''Trainer of the year'', he now concentrates on a very special training which focuses on the horses and their demands.
