Description
1 year ago, my boyfriend, Vincent, and I bought an 100-year-old Dutch barge. We are currently renovating it while already living in it. It's a lot of effort but it already makes a dreamy live, feeling as if we are always on a holiday! This summer, we will be in Ghent and hope to make some good progress. We are doing a lot of wood renovating projects, but also steel tasks, insulating, carpentry etc,.. There is an infinite amount of little projects and tasks and we are very flexible as to which need to get done first! So volunteers would be very free to choose which kind of things they would like to help out with!

We live on a 24 meter long ship. It has a guest bed, functioning bathroom and kitchen. It's not a finished house so it's not luxurious and the living room often gets converted to a building space. However, in summer it's most lovely outside anyway, so we spend most of our free time in the wheelhouse our in the hammock on deck!
