We own a cortijo (small farm) in Niguelas, Granada Province, Andalucia, We are looking for help with harvesting and pruning our 50 olive trees, house-painting and building work.
Helpers are accommodated either in an en-suite room with twin beds inside our house or, if there are no guests, in a larger apartment with its own bathroom, TV, cooking facilities which we let. We enjoy cooking and provide a range of healthy meals, vegetarian if preferred.
There is a lot to do in the area. The cortijo is situated on the borders of the Sierra Nevada National Park. A paradise for hikers. There are a variety of easy and demanding walks starting right outside the house. There are regular buses from the village to Granada, the coast and pueblos blancos of the Alpujarra.
