There is a lot to do in the area. The cortijo is situated on the borders of the Sierra Nevada National Park. A paradise for hikers. There are a variety of easy and demanding walks starting right outside the house. There are regular buses from the village to Granada, the coast and pueblos blancos of the Alpujarra.
