    Description

In our 50s we are often travelling ourselves. We have always enjoyed the outdoors, camping, 4wding and bushwalking. Our home at Cairns is on a website but now with being time poor it is means there is always maintenance to do on a near 100yr old house. We have done renovations but we still have jobs to do here and there. The garden is tropical and thriving which means there is always something We have a dog Josie. We have had pets most of our lives and they are a big part of it. Situated in Edge Hill and not far from the Botanical Gardens, cafes, restaurants and art precinct we have a lot on the door step. Bus stop is just 400m away. It's a quiet neighbourhood with professionals and families. There is seldom any loud parties and each respecting others privacy but still friendly. Most homes are owner occupied. We need help getting the maintenance of the garden. It can be seasonal that the yard just grows before your eyes.

When I am in I will be able to share my comprehensive knowledge of Australia and places to see. We, as a couple have travelled for near 30 years around Australia when we can or working throughout. We still haven't seen it all. I studied travel industry and have good knowledge of how to save money and let you know what is unmissable and what to bypass. We are well aware of some of the experiences other travellers have to share also. We have skills in the outdoors and with farming to share for your next experience. Our place is the perfect spot to base yourselves for looking at and experiencing our beautiful region. Especially if you are into diving, snorkelling and bushwalking.

General Housekeeping, Gardening, Lawn Maintenance. Trimming and Planting new trees. Occasional painting. Fencing and spraying and mustering w yard work at the farm. You will be working between the two properties. It is really important that you love dogs. We don't let our dog inside the house but we do give them a lot of attention by exercising and playing. They enjoy being walked each day and they need it as an Australian Cattle Dog. You will be self sufficient with cooking for yourself as I am often away with other commitments.

There is the Botanical Gardens, Red and Blue Arrow walking trails within a short distance.
