Description
, We are a retired couple living in San Rafael with a beautiful property that has a park of magnificent pine trees and around 1000 olive trees. This time of year it is reasonably cold but can still involve working in the sun. As we have completed our harvest, the work we do in winter is prune the trees , spring clean the houses from cobwebs etc, and you can strengthen your tennis arm by beating rugs with golf clubs {provided}.
We have travelled to many countries before settling here, we know how exciting it can be to explore new places and taste food that is prepared by local people.
The accommodation offered is a comfortable double bed suitable for 2 persons willing to share. We provide the food, the preparation and consumption is shared by all.
Please don't leave it to the last minute to apply as we have plenty of requests, also try to stand by the dates agreed as there are workers arriving and leaving around the times arranged with you.
We tend to eat spicy food and although I cook some nice vegetarian meals there are days we prepare meat and fish if you have a problem with any of this then please don't apply.Types of help and learning opportunities

San Rafael is the place that Argentines living in Buenos Aires escape to every year to get out of the city and experience fresh country air, Valle Grande is as spectacular as the grand Canyon in parts and you can go white water rafting, zip lining and visit some of the leading wine producing Bodegas of the province of Mendoza.
Help
The project we have planned for the next lot of workers requires pruning olives, beating rugs and some heavy digging. We intend to move some things around the garden so unless you have a strong arm and back. Need I say more. There will also be some help required with spring cleaning the our house and the guest houses.

What else ...
Where we live is about 12km from the town center, there is a sparse bus service 3 or 4 times a day and we tend to visit the shops two to three times a week, alternatively we can lend you two bicycles to explore, most roads here are flat and it takes 40 minutes to cycle into the town.
