Description
Hello, I live in a detached house in the Sarıyer area of Istanbul with my husband and our 10-year-old daughter. We have a guest room with a bathroom in our house. We would like to host a native English teacher who can help improve our and our daughter's English."
I am an interior designer, and my husband is an architect. We have a 10-year-old daughter who is learning German and English. In our free time, we enjoy cooking, listening to music, and spending time in the garden. We love connecting with new cultures and are committed to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for Workawayers.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I am excited to share my culture and learn from others through the Workawayer program. While staying with us, Workawayers will join our family meals, helping to cook and share stories.
We will teach skills like Turkish and Mediterranean cooking, Istanbul life, and Turkish culture. I hope to learn about their cultures and experiences too. Our home is friendly and welcoming, ensuring that Workawayers feel like part of our family.Projects involving children

As part of the exchange, I will provide three meals a day for Workawayers in return for their help. In the mornings, we leave home early, so we have a quick breakfast. After we leave, Workawayers can prepare their own breakfast according to their preferences. Lunch is typically enjoyed at the office, and Workawayers will need to prepare their own lunch as well. We will have the opportunity to share dinner together, enjoying traditional Turkish and Mediterranean dishes, which allows us to bond and learn about each other’s cultures.
On days when our schedules don’t align, I will provide ingredients or a stipend so that Workawayers can cook for themselves. We are happy to have them prepare meals to their liking during those times. This flexibility ensures that everyone can enjoy the food arrangements to the fullest.A little more information
