    Description

An off-grid finca in the wild and ancient mountainous lands of Tivissa, Catalunya. The Finca is an organic 15 hectares 'wild' and natural farm nestled in a hidden mountain valley, clinging to ancient terraces and surrounded by forests. It's completely private, no neighbours, just nature. Olives, hazelnuts, almonds, cherries, grapes all grow in an eco friendly manner surrounded by forested rocky and hiker pathed mountains. Living close to nature and enjoying great food, good company, exploring and traveling too.

Under an hour from Tarragona and two hours south of Barcelona, a historic hill town is nearby and the beaches of the Mediterranean just 25 minutes away. There are wild boar and deer in the forests, great hiking and mountain biking paths starting from the finca and the Mediterranean for swimming, kite surfing and snorkelling.

The farmhouse is small, modernised inside; it still looks like an ancient workers cottage hugging the steep terraces outside. The nearby guest caravan is for your exclusive use. It is your private space to relax, forget the world and enjoy a peaceful lifestyle. This is the perfect place to get away from it all, experience living off-grid and be close to nature, to bring skills and learn new ones, to have fun and take away good memories. I can only accept one person at a time due to the limited off-grid facilities.

I am looking for help in these areas, so if you are interested to help, please let me know.

    - grass cutting
    - collecting & storing logs
    - pruning trees

    Un saludo
    Kevin

English is the main language. You are welcome to hang out whenever you like, in the house and for trips to the towns and cities. Here you will try escape civilisation - the views in the daytime and stars at night are amazing. No neighbours, just raw nature. It is a happy, enchanting 'secret valley' finca you will always remember.

Independent caravan for your sole use. It's comfortable, private and you will wake up to the most amazing views of the rising sun's rays hitting the mountain peaks surrounding the finca. It is off-grid so that means careful with water and power - plus there is a compost loo! Plenty of internet so you can stay in touch with the outside world as much as you like.

You can make your own breakfast in the caravan from food provided - other meals are with me in the nearby casita. I cook creatively and eat well - so you will too.

You hike / walk through the almond groves and forest paths to the nearby hill-town (25 mins). I often drive to the bigger valley towns or to the coast for a half day out on the beach so can take you exploring too.

Life is quiet and mostly restricted to the farm and open land / mountains around. A couple of visits out for shopping. Days are usually sunny and nights are cool in April / May.
