Since 7 years, we, that's Patrick and Marcelle, live in a lovely, little village in the Haut- Marne. Originally we are Belgian and Dutch. We wanted a more meaningful and more peaceful life for ourselfs.
Together with our dog and cat we now live an easy , simple life , back to basics. Our way of life is inspired by the Buddhism . we are warm, friendly and hospitable people.
a little bit self-supporting, together with our neighbours ,we're feeling very well in the beautiful nature of the french country side.
A friend of mine bought a farm near our Village and so did we to sheare with other People.

You, as a traveller, can enjoy a cooking workshop [i am a former chef] . we put into practice yoga q-gong and meditation so you can participate if you want to . we use herbes that we find in nature for making tea, salads and medical purposes. we like to share our knowledge about those things. Besides that patrick is a life coach you might benefit of that. you can also practise several languages such as german, french dutch and english. We like art painting, singing , playing the guitar and we like to share all of it.
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.

Our house is a french cottage about 200 years old. Upstairs we have a nice guest room. (24 m2 ) 2 beds ( 1x 1p , 1x2p ) and a nice little corner with easy chairs and a table , and a wardrobe . ( see foto). .our house has very authentic elements . We share our bathroom with our guests. Food is very good and fresh because we have our own vegetable garden, meat and eggs from the neighbours. And above all Patrick is a former "chef de cuisine". We are not vegeterians how ever its possible to eat vegi.
There is a swimmingpool in the village. Sometimes it gets hot in the summer. For cultural things you can go to langres to visit the cathedral and musea and walk around the ancient city wall. Dijon has a very old midieval city center
our village is surrounded by forests so beautiful walks are always possible.
Its about 30km from our place to langres ,dijon is 65 km there are however no buses. You have to hitch-hike or we could go together.
