    Description

Busy family looking for new connections and friends. Liliana is a high school teacher, Brian is an stationary engineer, Gonzalo is away during the week working on his graduate studies, and Aimara is a professional interpreter working away from home in Wahsington DC. We like home cooking, fresh vegetables and fruit, hiking in Connecticut state parks, swimming and shopping locally. Liliana is personally interested in herbs, cooking and baking, and language teaching.

We offer a furnished bedroom with sunny windows and view to a golf course and street. Breakfast, lunch and dinner, rides to and from the train station, and a bicycle.
Museums, theaters and concerts in Hartford are 40 minutes away. New York City and Boston are only two and half hours away from our town. Washington DC is a four and a half hour ride. Schedules are available in AMTRACK. Train stations closest to our home are New Haven Union Station (AMTRACK) and Wallingford (East Regional / Hartford Line).

In exchange, we would like to speak German or Italian with you. Looking for helps, 2-3 hours daily ( or 10-15 hours weekly) to work around the house. Help outdoors includes: Mowing the lawn, raking leaves, watering flowers, taking care of our mini-vetable garden and three dwarf-fruit trees if needed and depending on the season. Minor work indoors includes: Using the vacuum cleaner twice a week in common areas, keeping the bathtub/shower clean, and cleaning a few small windows.

    New Pictures are in progress.
Looking forward to new friends and great times!
