Hi, I am Doreen, Dutch, age 69, living in Portugal for the past 25 years. until 2000 in the country side, having welcomed & worked with many WorkAwayers . Now living in Tavira , a coastal town in the Eastern Algarve..
I am looking for someone who can stay for about week ( minimum) to help me with all kinds of computer stuff, how to make small movies with sound & text ( Apple) what I had a lot of fun doing but I stopped about 8 yrs. ago, meanwhile new programs etc.
You have your own room with bathroom. You don’t need transport to go to the beach ( well , your legs) , 3 min. Away from the center of town, a bus & train station.
Any time between mid September and December you are very welcome !

Ofcourse depending on the nationality of the Workawayer … but even with a Dutch Workawayer ( and me being Dutch) there is lots of culture to be found & experienced in and around Tavira.. As I mentioned before, I have many yrs. of experience working with wwoofers and workawayers from many different countries , in agricultural projects.
Now it is a different setting but interesting enough for both host and Workawayer.
I live on my own but often have guests ( people and / or dogs) .

Hi, I am Doreen, Dutch, 69 , living in Portugal for the past 25 yrs. I speak, ….dutch, English, French and Portuguese ( although for the help I am looking for I prefer to welcome a Dutch or English speak8ng workawayer.).
For 20 yrs. i lived in the portuguese countryside where i have welcomed many a Workawayer and Wwoofer.
Now I live in the coastal town of Tavira, in the eastern part of the Algarve. A beautiful town and surrounding nature. You don’t’ need transport to go to the beach. Also there is a bus & train station eg. to go to Faro or Vila Real de San Antonio on the spanish border.
You would have your own room and bathroom in a very comfortable newly built house 4 min.
walk from the centre of Town .
The kind of help I am looking for requires a minimum of 1 week , and it’s all computer stuff but mostly showing me how to make short movies with sound& music. It is something I did for many yrs. but stopped about 8 yrs. ago ; Now all is different.
I hope a kind person with a bit of patience. who knows all about that kind of ‘ work’ would enjoy a week in the fall or winter ( between mid- September and- mid December) in the sun.

A nice and comfortable room ( guest room ) with your own bathroom in a newly built house . If you stay for a week or shorter you can share each lunch and dinner if u like.
