    Description

    English
We are a French family engaged in the renovation of a beautiful old farm (1858) on a plateau overhanging the gorges of the Allier (50 km from Le Puy, 60 km from Mende). Small village of about ten houses and very beautiful view on the plateau at 1000 meters of altitude.
The current project concerns the creation of a summer bathroom in one of the houses that are part of the farm in order to welcome more visitors; this house has a particular character because one of the walls is directly in the rock (granite). The objective is to use this rock as a decoration with, in addition, an installation with low ecological impact.
10 days of work between July and October. 3 phases, not necessarily continuous, depending on the availability of help:
    - The cleaning of the house formerly used as a sheepfold and the rock wall
    - The construction of a waterfall shower along the rock face, a toilet and a collective sink (wooden structure and natural materials)
    - The connection of the whole (plumbing and electricity) with the aim of ecological not commercial and self-produced solutions
The accommodation (food, lodging) is provided in the main house (2 rooms available) with all the comfort. We have another more rustic room in a small independent house. It is also possible to camp on the adjoining land (we provide the tent).
Multiple activities: swimming and canoeing in the Allier (7 km), bicycles at your disposal, archery, stargazing (magnificent sky), walks on the paths and, depending on the season, mushroom, blueberry or blackberry picking, etc.
Camino de Santiago trail at 7 km.
Accessible by train (magnificent line "Le Cévenol") from Clermont-Ferrand, and thus Paris, or Nîmes
