    Description

Hello we are Wayne and Kim. Wayne works away from the home and enjoys quading, snowmobiling, giving people tours of the lake on the pontoon boat, cutting wood on the sawmill, woodworking projects, cutting firewood, operating heavy equipment, doing home Reno’s handy with electrical and mechanical. Kim works from home for large construction company and is a big horse enthusiast looking to try her hand at endurance, loves crafts and DIY projects, helping Wayne with projects around the house and and accompanying Wayne on the boat, quad or snowmobile. We are both animal lovers and our 2 dogs stay in the house with us, our 3 horses are our bigger outside pets. We are a small hobby farm on Tyee Lake in Cariboo BC. We are surrounded by crown land and other lakes. If you love the outdoors you will enjoy your stay here. We are right on the lake or you can tour around to the various other lakes close by. Great fishing here, there is a rope swing not far down from us on the lake. Lots of trails and nature to see. We are looking for help with various projects, building addition, cleaning up brush, firewood, building fence, animal care, house sitting, renovation, maintenance, landscaping etc. We have 3 horses, 2 dogs, in the summer we have pigs, chickens and cows. We can set you up on the lake in the RV if in the summer if you like or you are more than welcome to stay in house with us with choice of one of our extra 2 bedrooms. Home cooked meals provided and if you enjoy cooking would love to try your dishes as well. Kim loves to bake and Wayne loves to cook especially on the smoker or BBQ. If you would like to help us out in exchange for staying with us we would love to host you. We are flexible on the hours but would like 4 hours per day, not particular what time of day we generally like to get started mid morning so the afternoons and evenings are free. We can accommodate couples and they will enjoy exploring the area together on time off.
Look forward to hearing from you.
    Safe travels.

We are looking to put addition onto my patents home on the property. Lots of opportunity for building and repair. We have barn that we are finishing, with the milled wood putting the rest of the siding up. If winter help with snow clearing. We heat with wood and always need firewood. Lots of wooded area on the property so we clean up fallen brush usually by having a bonfire and sitting around having a wiener roast.
