  • Description

This is a dream we have been cultivating for many years and now becoming reality. LABA, Our little seed is sprouting into a beautiful tree throughout special connections, a bit of craziness and one vision: Live in Oneness.

We are nature lovers, building a sustainable community in Mauritius. We have an organic permaculture farm which is already growing and we have to build a new one on another part of the land completely from scratch. We are also aiming at zero waste and to do so we want to produce and make everything ourselves; from vegetables and fruits, herbal teas, fruit jams, peanut butter, vegetable milks and spices to beauty and cleaning products, clothing and art creations... And many more!

Located at the heart of forest and rivers, this place can be described as a meeting place for like-minded individuals with nature and evolution as philosophy. A place where one can grow, learn, heal, share and more importantly, be. Activities from camping, hiking, planting to yoga & healing retreats, workshops, art and music are part of our vision.

We welcome travellers from all over the world to come and help us in our project, bring new ideas, meet new people and work towards a common goal, living as one.
We are looking for nature lovers, farmers, teachers, eco-constructors and any other passionate and open-minded individuals who share our vision.

We need to develop our organic farm. We will plant more vegetables, fruits trees, cacao and coffee trees, and medicinal plants. We need to construct huts and other eco-houses, a common place to chill, a place for animals, bee hives, create a website, organise festivals and workshops.

During your stay, you will do some interesting developments on the farm, eat local vegetarian food, fire cooking at night, play music, culture sharing, yoga, visit Mauritius and its beautiful beaches and so much more.
There is an amazing hike to do, from the land itself, with waterfalls and rivers, a natural pool, and natural jacuzzi.

You are asked to work a minimum of 4 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Vegetarian/vegan food will be served, 3 meals per day.
We have no wifi so that you can disconnect from your day to day life and reconnect with nature, people and yourself:) You can still have access to 3G/4G if you need to keep in touch with family and friends. You have to buy a local sim card and an internet package which will cost you approx.10 euros for one week.
The village of Montagne blanche is a very typical one, with lots of small shops selling products typical to Mauritius, at very low prices. People talk hindi, creole, french and english. There are some nice rivers, waterfalls and hikes to do around.
At domaine de l'Etoile, which is around 10mins by car, you can do quad biking, zip line and some other activities.
Port-Louis, the capital is at around 45mins to 1 hour by car.

There are a lot of interesting projects to work on here, so we would be glad to have you there and share our culture, life vision and knowledge. See you soon in Mauritius.
