    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

The volunteers will have a chance to understand and learn Georgian traditional winemaking, since the Estate is a wine chateau. We have the qvevris dating back to 1906 and still properly functioning. You will have a chance to learn a lot about winemaking traditions and generally about Georgian culture through exchanges with us as well as with our guests.

Travelers will be introduced to the Georgian culture primarily. They will better understand its social texture, and the region itself. Due to our location it is easy to visit numerous cultural sites located within 1 hour driving distance, that is the most of Kakheti region.

Generally, we accommodate/can host volunteers (3-4 persons) who can assist in light construction/welding, and gardening (seasonal). Arty or graphic designer people are more than welcome as well.

At our premises, there are 3 full-time staff: a) estate manager, b) wine technologist and c) wine technologist assistant, beyond we employ 3 additional workers for various jobs. We the owners, stay at the premises a minimum of 5 days a week.

We have a need of helping hands and some professional advice in the following projects:

    Eco projects/construction:
    - reduction of energy consumption through installation of solar panels - panel metallic holders must be installed.
    - improving the rainwater collection system from the roofs and other surfaces.
    - assembling the greenhouse from the metal structure.
    - windows/doors/walls creative insulation ideas.

    Arts:
    - we would love to learn the basics of pottery and install some workshops,
    - we have lots of walls and wooden surfaces to be painted with flowers, humans, whatever.

Also, we can accept a person or two for a longer stay, a few months, one who can take care of general maintenance and hospitality-related aspects.

We may need some other help in terms of minor construction works, but nothing at the moment.
