Description
Hi there — Laura and Kev here!
Want a true Aussie farm adventure? We’d love to welcome you to our small family farm and give you a real taste of country life in Australia. We run a mixed farm with cropping, sheep and some farm pets including (chickens, puppy, cats and bunny), and no two days are ever quite the same around here.
We’re lucky to live just 10 minutes from town, surrounded by beautiful country towns, wineries and great weekend spots, while still only being around 2 hours from Melbourne.
Our home is busy, fun and full of life with three young girls, the farm, a glamping retreat and a building business all keeping us on our toes. We’re both seasoned travellers ourselves and genuinely enjoy meeting people from different cultures, sharing stories, hearing travel adventures and learning a bit of new “lingo” along the way.
You’ll have your own private self-contained cabin to relax in after work, with plenty of space and privacy.
We’d love someone who is easygoing, practical, great with kids, happy to pitch in and keen to experience real Australian family and farm life

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We are situated on a family farm, 10 minutes from the local town (12,000 population). Surrounded by many other beautiful country towns, wineries etc. 2 hours from Melbourne. You can learn about Australian farm life- See kangaroos in the wild. We both have travelled around Australia and overseas so have an understanding of different cultures. Having also lived overseas (Germany), I (Laura) understand what it is like learning a new language and will help you practice your English.
