Description
Hola! I am Moisés from Arequipa, I am 43 years old. I am the owner of a small hostel in Las Antillas de Paracas, 7km from the famous Paracas Bay of the Ica region and 3h south from Lima. It is a simple but comfortable place with a very relaxed atmosphere. I run it together with my right hand man Odon. At the moment because the pandemic time we are renting the entire place just for groups or families (usually up to 6/7 persons). The Antillas are a safe and quiet village within magnificent desert landscape. We offer you this cozy place to come and enjoy “peru-life”.

You will live with Peruvians and will have the opportunitie to meet peruvian culture. My family is from Lima while Odon is a native of the Andes, from Huancavelica región. We speak Spanish here but I know English, while Odon’s first language is Quechua and he is also learning English, so you can both teach and learn with us! Our hostel welcomes Peruvians and visitors from all over the world alike. The bay has a great natural and cultural history and is very popular with tourists.

Most of the daily tasks at the place are simple: cleaning the house, help in the garden, pool maintenance, help with some purchases, etc. Also there are many different opportunities for your own creative input… art, decoration, ideas for online promotion/fundraising, etc. Currently we are planning an eco-natural building.

Private room or tent with a shared bathroom in our private volunteers area. This area is located 5 minutes by walking from the hostel. Also we can provide a very nice breakfeast everyday and the option to use our kitchen to prepare some meals.

Beside the comfort of the village and the excitements of Paracas Bay you will have opportunities to visit Pisco (20km) and Chincha (50km) to the north and Ica (60km) and Nasca (200km) to the east.

We stayed 10 days at Moises place near Paracas and it was a great experience. We had our own bedroom. Our daily tasks were to make the common spaces enjoyable for the guests and ourselves. I still here for three weeks, I wish I could of stayed longer but I could not due to other commitments. The hostel is situated in the charming village of Las Antillas, a photographers dream.
