    Description

    Hi there!
My name is Julien and together with my wife Ione we live in a small farm in the natural park of the Ancares (Lugo), reserve of the biossphère.
We are located in the border of Asturias and Leon.

Our place it's unknown by many people, and has been depopulated over time, so it's a very quite spot.

It's a magnific place, full of biodiversity, like bears, wolfs and many other wild animals. It's also the perfect area for birds lovers (we can borrow binoculars to observe them).
The environnement is clean and pure.

Our project is to rebuild the house in a traditional way, with noble materials, and also to create a self-sufficient farm.

Sometimes we hire a builder to help us with specialized jobs.

You can help and learn in the garden, from keeping the seeds for next season, to planting and picking the veggies and cooking delicious meals. You can also collaborate to install a greenhouse.

When animals will arrive (hens, chickens, sheeps and maybe a donkey, horses will come later), you can cooperate and learn how to take care of them.

As you see there are many things to do in Casa Nova (that's how our house is called) so you won't get bored. But there's no only work to think about! We like to enjoy our sorroundings and we will be very pleased to show you the beautiful corners of our natural park.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Julien is a very good chef, he likes cooking traditional french and itialian meals, so we can cook some good meals together. He's also passionated of animals but most of all with horses, he's been working as a natural horsmanship all his live and he has a huge knowledge about them. So if you are also a horse lover too, you can learn a lot with him!
Ione is passionated of astronomy, astrology, and medicinal plants, she loves to share her knowledge with everyone.
She also likes to play guitar and singing, so if you play any music instument don’t hesitate to bring it! We love to do some little house concerts with you!
We both love nature, it is for this reason that we choosed this place. We will be very pleased to show you the beautiful enviromment of Galicia and its culture.
We also distill our own essential oils with a traditional still, you're welcome to participate!
