    Description

Magnificence of horses and subtile nature meet here. We are establishing unique ranch in old homestead, where horses can live freely and people enjoy their company in beautiful mild nature.
The ranch is in region of lakes and hills. It all started 8 years ago and for now we have 17 horses living. We mostly do short nature trails, go swimming with horses and educate people. There are plans to rebuild house and accomodate some tourists later.
My parent's ecological cattle farm is at neighbourhood and they help with grand works, we interact.
Volunteer's help needed for environmental jobs, horse care, house rebuilding.

    THINGS FOR YOU TO CONSIDER:
🌿 Volunteers MUST BE ABLE TO STAY ALONE for some time. We are not always around. If you come alone, it might happen that you spend much time and work alone doing the jobs organised.
🌿The ranch is in early developement stages, not a spoiled one. We are looking for hard-working people and only have fun afterbthe jobs are done. The old house had some reconstructions but yet not very hermetic, you would need to take frequent care of fireplace burning. Except summer.

I finished veterinary studies and now concentrate on making up the ranch, train clients to horse-ride.
Jonas is professional paragliding pilot. He is very energetic, enthusiastic pilot and traveller.

Despite that, we love hiking and other ways of travelling in nature, dancing folk dances, sitting at the fire. Our little ranch is waiting for hard-working, honest and nature-oriented people.
For quick contact, CALL watsapp Jonas (sometimes we lose volunteers due to message lags).

    Cheers,
    Liepa & Jonas

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

In reconstructed tiny old house's atic. A simple cozy living (could be chilly at winter). But there is shower, kitchen with gas stove, washing mashine.
    Or Camping-like in tents.
    Outside wc.
There's fridge, some cabinets for food or personal stuff.
Most matresses to sleep are in second floor, room reminds hostel's shared room.
NOTE: there is fireplace in the house, if you want to live warm, would have to take care of it burning quite often. Except may-September.
Outside you can make fire to sit around or cook.
The most extraordinary is to feel the spirit of old homestead, quietness, you can always see horses around.

Closest town is 6 km away where we drive every day. You can go swimming in one of many lakes around, cycling, watching cattle, picking herbs, join to traditional dance evenings or hiking trails and other fun when we take part. It's possible to visit Molėtai observatory for star watching.
