    Description

We are a happy couple (Danish & Filipino) living in the beautiful countryside in Sweden.
We live in a picturesque small village (52 inhabitants) right next to the great lake Bolmen.
The village is surrounded by forest and lakes and in its own way a little secluded, but still close enough to bigger city’s so shopping etc. so its not a hassle (15 minutes by car to the nearest grocery store, 35 minutes to a bigger city (50.000 inhabitants)
The lake is around 400 meters away (10 minutes walk) and you will find small secluded beaches, fishing and nature trails around the old viking graves here.
My wife is a chef at a local fish restaurant and I’m a wine merchant, so of course we are both foodies and wine lovers. I also run a small production of balsamic vinegar made on local fruits and berries that I sell in Sweden and abroad Plus a small Nano beer & wine brewery & a small destillery. I brew great beer and fruit wines for our own consumption. We love traveling and have lived many places around the world before ending up here.
We love having people from different countries around!!

Getting around by car is easy, There's small cities with around 2000 inhabitans 15 minutes drive away and a few larger ones 45 minutes away. You can reach the bus to the larger cities by bike and the small villages you can drive to with bike's also.
This area is very much countryside with 80% forest and 12% lakes

Here are no busses, but if you’re bringing bikes and you’re up for it, you can reach the bus 10 kilometers away by bike or scooter.
We have boats in two of the lakes around us with, you can use to go swimming or fishing in the lakes.

And we need you guys to help us eat the food we cook, drink the wine and beer we make, having great laughs together and enjoying your company. Vegans & vegetarians are very welcome if you're cool with us eating meat.

Are you happy and easy going and would like to help us and try something new and learn something new…
Please come and laugh with us, enjoy life with us, eat with us, have fun with us.

    Help

Here is some of my projects this coming year.

Planting a small vineyard in the garden
Renovating one more room in the basement for workaways.
Making a footpath to the lake on a piece of land we have..
    Making a vegetable/spice garden.
Brewing beer & wine for our own household consumption.
    Creating a crowdfunding campaign.
Making an outdoor hot tub for our workawayers.
We have a piece of land next to a beautiful lake in the forest, that we have long planned on building a small deck and perhaps a small earthhouse/shelter so we can enjoy the lake all year round.

We really need help with normal household chores like cooking, cleaning and washing clothes. We need this help so we can also have some time off and not just work our wonderful summers away.

    Accommodation

Your accomodation is in our cellar apartment. It has a nice shower and toilet, small kitchen, couch, beds, high speed internet and tv. So far its one livingroom/bedroom & another smaller sleeping option in the entry where the kitchenette is. The cellar apartment has its own entry to the garden.

There is seperate bedrooms, but the toilet entry is in the larger bedroom, so that is to be considered in the night time.
