  Hello there! (É importante saber falar português!))
  We are a family of 3 generations: me (Helena), my mother (Monca) and my grandmother (Eny).We live on a beautiful, cozy small farm right inside the quiet town of Jeceaba, which has about 5000 inhabitants. During weekdays, we have two wonderful helpers who come by: Cláudia, who takes care of the house and cooking, and Célio, who manages the cows, the garden, and general maintenance. Our place is simple, peaceful, and full of life. We have a vast green area where you can hike, have picnics, and truly connect with nature. There is also a swimming pool and a bicycle available (my mother actually cycles a lot!). It’s the perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life and wake up to the gentle sounds of the stream and birds. Depending on the season, you’ll see plenty of maritacas (local parrots) and the occasional toucan.
  
  We share our home with three large, friendly dogs: Farofa, Zorro, and Canjica. Since they roam freely around the property, it is essential that you love dogs and feel comfortable around them.
  
  Above all, we want someone to keep my 93 year old grandmother company. She can get quite lonely, which is why we love having a lively house with new faces. The ideal volunteer is someone who enjoys long conversations, has plenty of patience and empathy.
  
  
  Oioi! Somos uma família de 3 gerações: eu (Helena), minha mãe Mônica e minha avó Eny. Moramos em um sítio, dentro da cidade de Jeceaba, que tem 5000 habitantes e é muito tranquila. Além de nós, temos 2 trabalhadores que vêm nos dias de semana: a Cláudia cuida da casa e da comida e o Célio cuida das vacas, jardim e manutenção geral.
  
  O espaço é simples e gostoso. Temos uma área verde onde da pra fazer trilha, piquenique e apreciar a natureza da região. Tem piscina pra nadar e bicicleta. Minha mãe inclusive pedala bastante. Acredito ser um lugar pra se afastar do centro urbano e acordar com som do riacho e dos pássaros. Dependendo da época tem muita maritaca e às vezes os tucanos aparecem.
  
  Temos 3 cachorros grandes: Farofa, Zorro e Canjica. É importante que a pessoa goste de cachorros e se acostume com eles, porque ficam sempre soltos no espaço.
  
  Nós queremos alguém sobretudo pra fazer companhia pra minha avó. Ela está com 93 anos, fica muito sozinha e por isso gostamos de ter mais pessoas pela casa. Tem que ser alguém que goste de conversar, tenha paciência e empatia.

  You can discover the simple life of the interior of Minas Gerais! Antônia is a great cook, so if you want to learn typical dishes, just ask her: tropeiro beans, feijoada, chicken with okra, cheese bread, rice pudding, hominy, etc. We make fresh cheese with the milk of our own cows. You can also spend time with Célio in the pasture, riding horses, taking care of the cows, chickens and the vegetable garden. Depending on the season, we have lettuce, spinach, arugula, cabbage, peppers in our vegetable garden. It has basil, rosemary, lemon balm and mint too. Here there are several jabuticaba, persimmon and lemon trees.
  
  Você pode descobrir a vida simples do interior de Minas Gerais! A Cláudia é uma cozinheira de mão cheia, então se quiser aprender pratos típicos é só pedir pra ela: feijão tropeiro, feijoada, frango com quiabo, pão de queijo, arroz doce, canjica, etc. A gente faz quejio fresco com o leite das nossas próprias vacas.
  Você também pode passar um tempo com o Célio no pasto, andando a cavalo, cuidando das vacas, galinha e da horta. Dependendo da época temos alface, espinafre, rúcula, couve, pimentão na nossa horta. Tem manjericão, alecrim, erva cidreira e hortelã também. Aqui tem vários pés de jabuticaba, caqui e limão.

  Help

  We mainly asked for company for my grandmother. She is independent and can do almost everything herself. It is the type of person who still has a lot of energy in the soul but the body can no longer keep up. Loves to talk, cook and play cards. She always needs help turning on the tv or having any questions on her cell phone (yes, she uses Facebook hahaha). We would need to talk better to define help schedules because this will depend on the season and my mother's commitments. My mother works out during the day and comes back after 6pm.
  
  Pedimos, principalmente, companhia pra minha avó. Ela é independente e consegue fazer quase tudo sozinha. É o tipo de pessoa que ainda tem muita energia na alma mas o corpo não consegue mais acompanhar. Adora conversar, cozinhar e jogar baralho. Ela sempre precisa de ajuda pra ligar a tv ou alguma dúvida no celular (sim, ela usa Facebook hahaha). Precisaríamos conversar melhor pra definir horários de ajuda porque isso vai depender da época e dos compromissos da minha mãe. Minha mãe trabalha fora durante o dia e volta depois das 18h.

  We live in a spacious house. The person will have their own bedroom and bathroom, probably just for you. The other spaces are shared. The 3 meals are provided and you can help prepare them from time to time, although we already have someone for that.
  
  Moramos em uma casa espaçosa. A pessoa terá seu próprio quarto e o banheiro, provavelmente, só pra você. Os demais espaços são compartilhados.
  As 3 refeições são fornecidas e você pode ajudar a prepará-las de vez em quando, apesar de já termos alguém pra isso.

  It is important that the person has a sense of living together with other people, helping with basic tasks such as washing dishes after meals, keeping the stove and floor clean, keeping the house clean and organized. We have some family frictions like any house, but we always try to keep good energy. It is worth remembering that Jeceaba is small and still so it fits for people who are in that vibe. Welcome!
  
  É importante que a pessoa tenha o senso de morar junto com outros pessoas, ajudando em tarefas básicas como lavar a louça após as refeições, manter o fogão e o chão limpo, manter a casa limpa e organizada.
  Temos alguns atritos de família como toda casa, mas sempre tentamos manter boas energias.
  Vale lembrar que Jeceaba é pequena e parada então se encaixa pra pessoas que estejam nessa vibe.
