Description
We are Boris and Neja, a couple living on the land in Karst area in 150 year old stone house, managing our farm with 20+ horses, a dog and two cats.
We live in a tiny village with just 21 human inhabitats, some dogs, cats and a donkey.
Neja is a sculptor and a specialist for hoof care and Boris is a musician.
The love of horses and nature brought us together and manifested our big project, that we call Insight to Nature.
Our philosophy is to offer horses the most natural way of living as we possibly can, while working with them in companionship. They are living on a vast pastures of 120 hectares, living rich social and happy life, out in the pastures 24/7, all year long. The place where they graze is one of the most bio diverse meadows in Europe. We work with horses in natural horsemanship ways, also leading courses teaching people communication with horses and other horse related skills.Types of help and learning opportunities

It is a 150 year old stone house. You will have a private room a queen size bed, shared bathroom. For this reason we accept only solo traveler or a couple. We provide food but we all participate in cooking.
What else ...
We are situated 15km from Slovenian coast, so you can take a dip in the sea. 15km from Unesco site Škocjan caves, a vast cave system which is a marvel to experience. You can visit Croatian and Italian shoreline, as we are just 20 minutes car ride from both borders.
For hiking and biking there are numerous trails just behind the house, so you won't be bored on your time off.
Boris is a climber and he can take you rock climbing, as there are many beautiful crags just nearby (Osp, Misja pec, Crni kal,...)

His is a kind and decent guy, with a good work ethics and sensitive to his enviroment.

She was taking good care of all the animals and the house and was sensitive to our way of living. She is kind and sensitive person, but also quite grounded. We spent long hours in quiet and then had endless conversations about life and all. It was a good connection and I recommend her for your project.
