  Description

  Hello! Last year we still had two hostels in Nicaragua, but with the situation we had to close them and now we are about to open a new hostel in the heart of San Jose. We are located in the center of the city near museums, art galleries, universities, schools of languages, bars and restaurants and shopping centers.
  
  We want to offer volunteering for a minimum of two weeks to young people who are interested in getting to know and live the experience of creating a new project with us.

  Hola! el año pasado todavía teniamos dos hostales en Nicaragua, pero con la situación tuvimos que cerrar y ahora estamos por abrir un nuevo hostal en el corazón de San José. Estamos ubicados en el centro de la ciudad cerca de museos, galerias de arte, universidades, escuelas de idiomas, bares y restaurantes y centros comerciales.
  
  
  Queremos ofrecer voluntariado por un mínimo de dos semanas a jovenes que esten interesados en conocer y vivir la experiencia de crear un nuevo proyecto con nosotros.

  We speak English and Spanish, but your Spanish skills will definitely improve if you come here! It is a great home base for adventures around the city and really immersing yourself in the language, while not breaking the bank!

  Help

  We consistently will need help with reception to welcome guests and make them feel at home when the arrive. At the same time, we are open to all sorts of creative projects that volunteers might have! Want to start a yoga class, great! Like to paint and want to set up near the front desk while you work? Have a better idea for a recycling program? Go for it! We are really open to new ideas, but it is up to you to take initative. We would love it if someone wanted to develop a marketing strategy for facebook (and promote us!) or create a weekly calendar of parties and cultural events happening around the city.
  
  
  Siempre vamos a necesitar ayuda con la recepción para dar la bienvenida a los huéspedes y hacer que se sientan como en casa cuando llegue. Al mismo tiempo, estamos abiertos a todo tipo de proyectos creativos que los voluntarios puedan tener! ¿Quieres comenzar una clase de yoga, genial! ¿Te gusta pintar y quieres montar cerca de la recepción mientras trabajas? ¡Bien con nosotros mientras la pintura permanezca en el lienzo! ¿Tiene una mejor idea para un programa de reciclaje? ¡Ve a por ello! Estamos realmente abiertos a nuevas ideas, pero le toca a usted tomar la iniciativa. Nos encantaría que alguien quisiera desarrollar una estrategia de marketing para facebook (y promoviéndonos!) O crear un calendario semanal de fiestas y eventos culturales que ocurren alrededor de la ciudad.

  Accommodation

  The volunteers sleep in a shared room, we provide breakfast and lunch. The volunteers have a living area to relax between your shifts, in the evening and on your days off. In the volunteer area there´s also a kitchen so you can prepare your dinner there. You can use our laundry room to wash your clothes during your stay with us.

  We are located in the best live area in San José, you can visit around, there are art galleries, language schools, museums, bars, restaurants, cultural and shopping centers and a lot more. There are several supermarkets nearby to buy groceries and everything you need.
