    Description

My season is full! Thank you for the on going interest. :)

Hello, we are Leana and Spencer we own and operate a cut flower farm on Vancouver Island. The farm it self is located in the near centre of the island in Duncan, BC. Its a wonderful place to be situated to explore the island being 1 hour south to Victoria (our capital) and 1 hour north to Nanaimo, a water front city. The Cowichan Valley boast loads of recreation, if you love mountain biking there are amazing trails just 20 minutes away as well as lots of lake and river fishing. But our heart and soul in the Valley is locally made, and locally grown food. Our farmers market on Saturdays is renown, with our 100 + venders and live music. There is all sorts of people living in the Valley, with lots of free spirits and innovated thinkers, people come here for a more connected and authentic way of living. We grow specialty cut flowers for 2 farmers markets, and the local wholesale for event florists. I am looking for help running the cut flower operation and with various farm duties.
We are 25 and 34, our favourite activies include hiking with our 2 dogs (Bowie & Luna), yoga, paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing, board games, beach lounging, running and mountain biking.
