Description
A small farm on Denmarks most wonderfull island - Bornholm. Peace and quite. An abundance of wildlife. Flowers everywhere, an apple orchard, forest just minutes away.
A family of 4 - Mira, Max, Nord(2yo) and Storm(6mo).
We are in general living a life of peace and plenty in our quite little corner of the world. New to the island and the farm, we are spending our time taking care of the land, the place and ofc our kids. As we have recently taken over the farm, there are way to many little projects to mention, but growing food and taking care of the chickens are on the daily to do list.
We are both in need of hands and have a desire to share this little paradise with others. So if you are looking for a place to unwind and cultivate peace, tranquility and harmony through simple manual labor and helping taking care of small children you have found your place.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We find ourselves as part of a growing home schooling environment so lots of international connections are available thru that. We also have a group of food growers meeting every Monday at the farm. The island is ripe with tourists in summer, and all that comes with that.
From us you will mainly learn farm life skills. Growing food, putting up fencing, tending to chickens, taking care of the land, cutting down trees, operating machinery, building, pruning trees, preserving/canning vegetables and a myriad of other things. Naturally when you will be doing during your stay will be dependent of the season and what is needed then and there.Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
