Description
My name is Sarah and my husband is Kevin. We have a three-year-old boy who starts school next September and another who arrives in June. We took availability from September for our new adventure which is to move into a mill and we are looking for volunteers to help us.
We are located in Lot-et-Garonne, in Agen, with accessibility by transport, and in particular 1 hour by train from Toulouse and Bordeaux. We invite you to discover this region with us.
We have 3 cats and a little dog so We cannot accept other animals.
Sorry but we do not accept people who want to bring pets and people with any health issues, including pet allergies. Nor can we cater for anyone with special dietary requirements gluten, wheat or lactose intolerant, any other eating disorders.
This is an exchange. You need to come with the attitude that you are here to help us.
If you cannot get out of bed in the morning, suffer from mood swings, struggle to socialize or have an aversion to hard, physical tasks, we are not interested.
You will be joining a family environment and you will be treated as a member of our family. It therefore seems important to us that our hosts be loving and patient with the children.
Meal times and preparation are important as we all sit down together to eat and talk and find out about each other. It is important for us to transmit these moments of exchange and shares to our children.
You need to be fit, have common sense, logic, initiative, a sense of humor and be prepared to help us in the house.
We are a French family (Sarah speak English, Kevin understand it and he will work we you to give you some answers). You will get the opportunity to practice French and English.
We will provide volunteers with a bedroom with a double bed plus a large or small extra mattress if necessary.
Please state whether it is building, gardening or household tasks that you are interested in and when you wish to come.
