Hello everyone 👋
Come and join us on our beautiful Quinta in Central Portugal.
We are just starting up our life dream of living close to nature, in tune with the seasons and there is always something to do :)
Our family consits of me (Elise), my partner Robin, our two Girls (5 and 10) and two freindly fury friends. Our land is about 2 Hectars and we have alot of plans, ideas and wishes.
We are also setting up a little off Grid Eco-Campsite for Familiy and Friends.
At the moment our biggest projects are building an outdoor kitchen, sitting area, animal shelters and base for the Belltents. Maintaing the Land is an all year round job and there is always something that needs attention. Mostly strimming, tending to our lovley fruit trees or grapevines, garden work and much more... the more hands the better ;)!
We are still in the process of creation and are open to ideas and skill exchange. We are learning alot as were doing it so would be nice to profit from the recources you are bringing.
We look forward to hosting you on our land, come and get to know us and our Quinta!
We offer you your own room or Canvas tent depending on how many helping hands are already here.
There is running water, a shared bathroom, and a hot shower :)

Help
We are looking for workaways who are motivated to help out, are interested in exchange of ideas and also work with motorised tools like a Strimmer.
Basic handyman/woman skills are a plus. If you know your plants and your way around the garden, amazing, I am still learning so maybe here I can learn from you :)
Life is not all work! Our sorounding area is beautiful and we are also still discovering it, so would be nice to also share some fun times together and balance your stay with us.
You are also welcome to explore by yourself. There are lovley walks starting from our Quinta and Avô is only 20 Mintues down thee hill. There you have small shops, cafes and a well known river beach along the Alva river. The Bus stop connecting you with bigger cities like Coimbra, Porto or even Lissabon is in walking distance!

As a family we are super interested to learn about all cultures and hear new languages and to improves the ones that we know already.
Accommodation
We have one extra bedroom for you to stay in. It can hold up to two people. Maybe also a couple with a child. We also have some comfortable bell tents. ⛺️
The Bathroom is shared with us.
Dinner is included and eaten together. I love to cook but you are also welcome to prepare dinner and introduce us to specialities for your country or just your favorite dish :)
There is always something in the house for a light lunch... and the possibility to go shopping is not far away so you can also get your main necessities.

Our driveway is quite steep and sandy so a stay with your campervan directly on our land is not possible. We do have a place for a Camper a bit further up our driveway, so don't hesitate to contact us :)!
