    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We have both travelled and have had interesting life experiences. writing, inventing, journalism and equestrian sports. We love Mexico and like to share our love of this special country. We have set up our place from scratch and so have a good knowledge about organic farming, seed conservation, organic pest control, and organic poultry care.

For those interested in goats both Marisol has a lot of experience and we have a great group of friends that can also share tons of experience in the subject.

We would love to teach our guests about organic farming, seed conservation, organic pest control, and organic poultry care. In doing so we will require help in sowing and harvesting related activities, soil preparation from time to time, feeding the flock and caring for it.

Our normal work day is from 6 am to 11 am (5 hours) we start feeding the animals, milking the goats, checking that everyone is accounted for and healthy. This takes about 2 hours, then we move to the production area, water the crops, harvesting what’s ready, looking out for pest, and sowing. On Sundays we go to our local organic farmers market to sell , the guest is welcome to come with us or to take the day off .
