    Description

I live on a peaceful property in the rainforest of Kuranda, surrounded by nature, wildlife and the sounds of the jungle. I’m looking for relaxed and reliable Workawayers who would like to stay in a calm, natural environment and help me out for a few hours a day.

The tasks are simple and vary depending on what’s needed – things like gardening, clearing paths, small projects around the property, or general maintenance. Nothing too heavy, just a helping hand.

In exchange, I offer comfortable accommodation in the middle of the rainforest, plenty of space to unwind, and the chance to experience Kuranda’s unique jungle lifestyle.

If you enjoy nature, a peaceful atmosphere and being part of a small, easy-going community, you’re more than welcome here.
    Looking forward to meeting you!

    Accommodation

Our home is a cozy bungalow tucked in the heart of the Kuranda rainforest, surrounded by a large garden. It has an open kitchen, a fully equipped bathroom, a comfortable bed, and an outdoor shower for a true rainforest experience. There’s warm water, Wi-Fi, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

The house has a slightly rustic charm – it’s not perfectly polished, but it’s incredibly welcoming and relaxing. You might notice a few spiders here and there, but they’re part of the jungle vibe and rarely a problem. It’s not for everyone, but if you enjoy nature, a cozy atmosphere, and a laid-back lifestyle, you’ll feel right at home here.

Please note: we don’t provide meals, but the town is just 5 minutes away and there are plenty of opportunities to work locally during the week.
