Description
I recently moved to Albania and bought a house in the heart of nature, where I am fully immersed in the beauty of the landscape and the animals that I care for. Currently, I have 11 animals—8 dogs and 3 cats—each of them a rescue. Along with my own beloved companions, I am also fostering 4 animals who are waiting for their forever homes. My heart is deeply dedicated to strays, with a special place for senior animals, and I am passionate about rescuing and finding loving homes for these incredible creatures.
Life here is full of joy, but it's also a lot of work. The property is large, and I need help, especially with tasks around the house and the land. There are many trees on the property, and it requires a lot of care to trim branches and manage the overgrowth. Additionally, I’m planning to fence the property to create a safer space for my animals, but there’s a lot of manual labor involved in that as well.
I’m also looking for support with my dogs. They need daily walks, and it would be wonderful to have help with that. On top of that, the animals require regular care and cleaning, and I could use assistance with that too. There’s always something to do, whether it’s working outdoors, maintaining the house, or caring for the animals.
If you're someone who enjoys working outdoors, loves animals, and wants to contribute to a meaningful cause while being surrounded by nature, I would be thrilled to welcome you. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place, and I’d love for you to be part of this journey with me.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
There is an animal shelter nearby that I work closely with, and we often help out where we can. This is a great opportunity to get involved, connect with like-minded people, and support the local community together. This is a chance to experience slow living—surrounded by nature and animals—while contributing to a meaningful mission of helping strays. The local community is very welcoming, and there are often opportunities to join village gatherings or simply connect with friendly locals over a coffee.
Help
- Feeding the animals at set times
- Walking and engaging the dogs (e.g., through play or simple exercises)
- Cleaning the animals' sleeping and living areas
- Light grooming, such as brushing or coat care, if needed
- Spending quality time: playing, cuddling, and simply being there for the animals
- Observing: keeping an eye on the animals' well-being and reporting any changes
- The tasks will take about 4-5 hours per day, spread across feeding, walking and spending time with the animals.
- You will be living in the heart of nature, spending lots of time with wonderful animals and enjoying a peaceful, fulfilling experience.
- Experience with dogs and a kind, patient approach are important, especially with my foster animals.
- Gardening and cutting the treesLanguages
