Description
(FRONT OF HOUSE VACANCIES)
Founded in the Perthshire town of Pitlochry, Scotland, our place is the UK's first 100% vegan hotel and showcases that the best experiences in life don’t have to come at the expense of animals or the environment.
Housed in a 19th-century baronial building, we have 11 guest bedrooms, a bar, a restaurant, a snug, a beer garden, and a yoga yurt, all decorated with luxurious linens, bohemian styling, and antique furnishings. Everything in the hotel, from staff uniforms to the food we serve, is completely plant-based.Types of help and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Skills and experience in hospitality will be useful wherever you go. We can help you learn a bit more about whisky and wine, if you're interested, and about vegan food.
We're also perfectly located to explore Scotland. The local area has lots of opportunities for walking, cycling, paddle boarding (we have some you can borrow!) and more. We're a ten minute walk from the train station so it's easy to travel a bit further afield, whether it's up to Inverness or south to Edinburgh and Glasgow. We're a friendly team so if you're wanting a companion for your adventures there's probably going to be someone wanting to come along!Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

Accommodation
You'll be staying in a hotel room with an en-suite bathroom. Dogs are welcome as long as they get along with other dogs. Vegan food is always available, but you may have to make this for yourself at times and it may be limited during meal service times. We have free wi-fi. We have large outdoor space.
What else ...
This is a perfect area for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. There are plenty of hikes in walking distance of the hotel, including hills such as Ben Vrackie, and lots of woodland walks in Black Spout and Faskally. If you enjoy paddle boarding or wild swimming Loch Faskally is an amazing location, with lots of places to get into the water. We're about ten minutes from the train station with regular trains both further north, and south to the big cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. If you want a night away to travel and stay somewhere else for a night or two (the Isle of Skye, perhaps!) we would be happy for you to do this.
