Description
Located right outside of Vienna, the capital of Austria, next to the Danube river and the “Wiener Wald” a beautiful forest for long and quiet walks in nature, my family (grandparents, mum…) and I (Lucy, 23) got 2 separate houses that have quite a few renovations going on.
- Renovation, maintenance and gardening -
This summer we need some help with easy DIY projects like painting, cleaning refurnishing as well as some gardening, planting herbs, daily watering…
- Camper Van -
We recently bought a Ford Transit that we want use as a Camper Van, there is still some work that needs to be done before starting travelling! We’d love to host someone with past experience and knowledge.
- Take care and look after 2 dogs -
From time to time we need someone to look after my 2 dogs, especially in the evening or during nights, since I work as a photo- videographer for a night club and at concerts.
Sara, 13, is a rescued livestock guardian dog from Bosnia and Merlin, 7, is an Australian Shepherd who needs a lot of attention and cuddles!
Both are demanding and high energy dogs, that require an experienced person with absolutely no fear of dogs and a calm personality!
In your free time you are welcome to explore the area, go for a swim in the pool or Danube or enjoy the silence in the forest.
Shopping, museums, cinemas and the big city life are just a short train ride away, about 30 minutes to the centre of Vienna.
If you’d like you’re more than welcome to do some garden help as well.
We are a very artsy family with different jobs and passions for art, music, fashion, upcycling and creative crafts, feel free to join us. -

Accommodation
Depending on the current state of the renovations you’ll either stay inside the main house or in the second building right next to it with running water but no separate toilet, the “walk” to the main house is very quick though!
We will provider the basic ingredients for the guests to make their own meals when hungry and will have shared meals once or twice a day. -
What else ...
In your free time you are more than welcome to explore the close by area with the Danube and the forest or visit Vienna (about 30 minutes by train) to go shopping and sightseeing!
