Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Because we have an international group of families, you'll have the opportunity to learn from different cultures. We'll have circles, communities activities, excursions, etc. We'll be based in Costa Rica so you'll also have the opportunity to learn Spanish if you don't know it. This is a great opportunity for younger, aspiring teachers to learn from a lead or for lead teachers to practice alternatively with a group of kids.
Projects involving children
This project could involve children. For more information see our guidelines and tips here.
Help
We are looking for a Lead Educator to design and facilitate a daily learning rhythm for children ages 1–10 (approximately 14–18 kids). The goal is not to replicate traditional school, but to create an enriching environment inspired by play, creativity, and curiosity — integrating elements of nature, arts, movement, and project-based learning. The Lead Educator would guide the overall vision, adapt activities to mixed ages, and (if needed)
help source or mentor assistants.
We are also looking for an assistant educator to support the lead educator and facilitate the group.
While not required, these roles might be of interest for someone with children who would benefit from being in and participating in the community and activities.Languages
