Description
We are a family of 6, a dog and a cat. We live just outside of Roundwood in County Wicklow known as the highest village in Ireland. We live on 11 acres of land where we grow our own food mostly vegetables all organic.,Living in the garden of Ireland, we are very close to amazing scenic parks and lakes that can be visited and explored.

National park Glendalough, dJouce wood walks and mountain trail. also country markets in Greystones and Bray at the weekends etc...

Help
We are looking for fun loving and enthusiastic people who can help maintain the land. People who can use a streamer cutting grass, gardening. also to help build sheds to house firewood., maintain roofs on sheds damaged by the winter weather, painting and household chores. Cooking skills is very welcome for the family. You are welcome to join in yoga and dance classes that take place here too,,

We offer Caravans for accommodation is simple and clean for sleeping. Cooking and eating will be done in the main house kitchen. you will be coking for yourself using produce from the garden, We are not vegetarians though we eat meat very sparinly

Living in the garden of Ireland, we are very close to amazing scenic parks and lakes that can be visited and explored. We are close to Sally gap, walks like the Wicklow gap. National park Glendalough, dJouce wood walks and mountain trail. also country markets in Greystones and Bray at the weekends etc...which you can visit using our bikes and also the local bus. Most volunteers have enjoyed going off on bikes to explore the area and joining in bathing in the local lakes when it gets very hot and also climbing the sugar loaf mountain....
