Description
We are a young, dynamic family with 3 daughters and a bunch of animals (cows, ducks, gooses, dog, chickens, cats).
We moved to the South of France only a year ago to start a regenerative - sol vivant - farm. A place where nature and agriculture can flourish together. Where trees, plants and animals all have their precious role to fulfill.
Currently we are a start up and do not sell our produce.
We live on a beautiful property surrounded by our own fields and a small agroforestry. We have beautiful sunsets above the lake and sunrises above the Pyrénées. Yes, we feel lucky!
This part of France is less known to people but it will surprise you with its kindness and landscapes.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
With us you will get first hand on experience on a start up regenerative farm. Learn by doing and interact with a regenerative expert.
We would love to learn from your experience and are open to initiatives and ideas. Sharing and collaboration is key to us.
We enjoy social time together over a lunch, diner or drinks. However we also appreciate our own time with the family in the weekends.
We are close to a bigger city where you can visit museum or do other nice activities. Weekly village markets are around and lovely to explore.
Help
We are looking for enthusiastic people who can help us make our farm winter ready.
Tasks can be done as a team but also request independent work.
In the upcoming months we would like to:
-Restore and secure the fences (such that the cows don't go on adventure again)
- Trim a lot of black berry bushes
- prepare the agroforestry for the winter (pruning, cutting etc..)
- cutting and storing wood for the winter
- organizing the barns: from chaos to order
- and for sure a lot of different other tasks

Accommodation
We have an independent gîte available which consists of one huge sleeping/living room where we can install up to 3 beds. We only accommodate people that want to come together in the gîte. We won't put strangers together.
There is a private bathroom
We install a cooking area outside under the veranda.
There is a washing machine and dryer available for use.
We will provide a warm meal for lunch. Breakfast and Diner is independelty and we will provide ingredients for it. Be mindfull we are Dutch so 2 meals a day are bread meals for us ;) Ofcourse if you want to cook for yourself in the evening thats up to you.
We are not vegan and unfortunately have no experience caring for vegan meals. Some days we cook vegetarian meals however we don't have a schedule around that.
What else ...
We can host up to 3 people. Only be mindfull that you share one sleeping area.. so know your snoring ;)
We expect workawayers to assist with cooking and cleaning up.
The gite and outside cooking area needs to be kept tidy and be cleaned properly before departure.
As we live remotely and public transport is not available having your own transport to get around might be helpful otherwise you are stuck on the farm with us and the cows 😉
We have young kids so that's good to know ;)
