    Description

    Hello!

We’re a family of five — two parents and three children (ages 9, 12, and 14) — living between Kochi and a piece of mountain land we're slowly developing in Idukki. We’re exploring unschooling, simple living, creativity, and growing meaningful connections through shared experiences.

    👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who
    We Host
We welcome families only — especially those curious about unschooling, slow living, and nature-connected ways of being. Whether you’re already on this path or just beginning to explore it, you’re invited to share time and space with us. We love a relaxed, hands-on atmosphere that feels more like extended family than a formal setup.

    🌱 1. Live & Learn with Us — Kochi

    Come stay with us and join in our everyday family life. Our younger two kids are unschooled, and we love learning through doing — whether it’s cooking, music, games, outdoor play, or creative projects. There’s no rigid structure here — just openness, presence, and the joy of discovering together.

    🌀 2. Self-Directed Learning Community — Kochi

    We’re part of a small, self-directed learning center for children aged 4–12, running weekdays from 9:30am to 3pm. Your family is welcome to participate — sharing your skills, passions, or simply your presence.

    Some past activities:
    * Treehouse building
    * Storytelling, music, and art
    * Nature play and creative science
    * Sensory paths and outdoor games
    Bring what excites you — we love when something beautiful unfolds naturally.

    🏔️ A Note on Nature & the Mountains

    While our main home base is in Kochi, we also spend occasional time on a piece of mountain land (about 3 hours away). It’s a long-term family project where we’re learning about gardening, eco-building, and slowing down with the land. If your stay overlaps with one of our visits there, and it feels aligned, you're welcome to join us for a few days as part of the experience.

    🌸 Let’s Connect

    If this sounds like the kind of experience your family would enjoy, we’d love to hear from you. Tell us a little about who you are, what you're exploring, and what draws you to this journey. We’re happy to chat and see if it’s a good fit.

    🏡 At Home in Kochi – Living & Learning Together
    Join our everyday family life and share what you love. We’d love you to bring your passions — art, building, music, cooking, gardening, storytelling, anything you enjoy — and share them with our kids (ages 9, 12, 14). We believe when children see someone working with joy and purpose, it inspires them deeply. Your role isn’t to “teach,” but simply to live and share what excites you. That energy is contagious — and that’s what we value most.
