I stayed with Michael and his family for 5 months and I had an incredible time. I made the decision to come over to Ireland from London at the beginning of the pandemic. Within a day of having the Workaway app Michael contacted me and the next day he was picking me up from Dublin! I couldn’t have predicted how fantastic the whole experience would… read more be. Most importantly Michael and his family were so kind and welcoming and I felt at ease with them immediately, I even ended up painting a portrait for one of their uncles! 😂 I always liked cows but now I LOVE COWS, and Michaels cows are just the cutest. You will see they have all been named, courtesy of me. I will never forget my time there and hope I will be in contact with them for a long time yet. I was devastated to leave, and now would welcome farm work if it ever presented itself to me again: it is such a rewarding lifestyle. Thankyou so much Michael, Trina and John! ♥️♥️♥️

We were delighted to have Robyn stay with us for 5 months (mid march to mid August 2020). She was only here a few days and she settled into the family home like one of our own, and was a breath of fresh air to be around each day. For someone who had very little experience in farm surroundings, we were astonished how quick she adjusted. Robyn was… read more great asset around the farm, weather it be field work or around the yard, she carried out each task to perfection. We thought her how to drive the farm loader and tractor and she was a natural within hours. Her connection with farm animals, especially the cows and cattle is what amazed us most, she had a few pets in every bunch which had to get her signature 'Nouggie' each morning.. She named each individual cow in our dairy herd according to there character with the most amusing names which gave everybody who called a great laugh. We would highly recommend Robyn and would love to host her again in the future. We were all sad to see her leave and wish her all the best for the future😊.
